It was learned that she had experienced recurrent oral ulcers for the last three years. The dermatological examination revealed an erythematous site measuring 5x4 cm surrounded by a purple ring on the middle right leg and an ulcer 2x2 cm in diameter covered with necrotic material at the lower inner part of this area. Histological examination of the biopsy material taken from the lesions on the right leg was compatible with pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) accompanied by vasculitis. Presence of vasculitis signs in the histopathologic examination, history of oral aphthae, bilateral anterior uveitis sequelae, and pathergy test positivity led to the diagnosis of Behçet’s disease (BD). We present this case who had PG-like lesions and was diagnosed as BD after etiological investigation to draw attention to the coexistence of the two diseases and their clinical-histopathologic differences.
